Lyrics:

thought i was on top of the heap till it all came tumbling down on me. dreams turned to nightmares hopes faded to memories. I had hope. i saw a future. from where i stood things looked great. you saw it different, never gave a reason, that’s why i’m so filled with hate. the times that we shared were great. memories i’ll always save. the future looked so bright, until you turned out the light i’ve got a reason for my anger and that reason is you. i hope that some day you get a chance to feel the same way that i do.

Lyrics:

he was drinking alcohol again with friends
they wanted to be happy all the time
the dream is yours and mnine
but someone said that alcohol’s no good
no good for mind and soul
or body when you lose control
I think I want to light something on fire
I’m going to light something on fire
I’m going to light something on fire
what am I afraid of?
waht are you afraid of?
what are we afraid of?

youth of today cant close my eyes

Lyrics

When I see violence on the street

when I see a friend getting beat

when I see youth so unaware

can’t close my eyes pretend I don’t care

Can’t close my eyes

when I see an unfair fight

something tells me it’s not right

can’t let these problems go unsolved

won’t close my eyes, I’ll get involved

We all have had people in our lives that only tag along when things are going well, where were they when things were going bad. True friends stick with you through the good and bad.  This song is dedicated to all the fair weathered friends.

Bold - Album - Looking Back - Song - You’re the Friend I Don’t Need

#straightedge

looking back album by Bold

Lyrics

Try to pretend the you don’t

see, look away as you walk on

by me. I tried to laugh at your

little game; just yesterday, you

were calling my name.

You called me up yesterday,

but that was when things were

going my way.

Now that’s changed,

I’m no longer cool to know.

Is that why, when I passed you

by, no reaction did you show?

You’re the friend I don’t need,

only around when my world is

all right. Fair weather friend,

you I don’t need

My life goes awry, and you’re

nowhere in sight.

Call me up on the phone when

you hear good things of me;

fair weather friend,

fair weather friend,

for you it’s so easy.

Realize I need you most when

my luck turns around,

that is when, that is when,

you’re nowhere to be found

You’re the friend I don’t need,

only around when my world is

all right. Fair weather friend

you I don’t need.

My life goes awry,

and you’re nowhere in sight.

Try to pretend that you don’t

see, look away as you walk on

by me. I tried to laugh at your

little game, fair weather friend,

now I know your name.

I’d like to stress the importance of independence to the youth today. They can survive without kissing ass. There’s a lot of ass kissing going on an I honestly think that the music industry of America is full of shit and I think that a lot of the producers are going to be surprised as a lot of the youths are getting their scene together and are going to make music that will wipe a lot of their shit off the charts. I’m working hard for that day.
